Well folks – everything we have been fighting for becomes reality on Wednesday, April 24th, 2013!  The Governor will be signing Kilah’s Law and it will become effective December 1, 2013.

This is a monumental day and we should all be very proud of our efforts; whether you have/are directly involved or if you have supported such important legislation.

Next up, the Kilah Davenport Protection Act 2013! Let’s all show our legislators that we are serious about stopping child abuse Nationwide. Please sign the petition at Change.org and continue to share it with friends and family.

Also, our foundation is asking for a letter of endorsement on your official organizations letter head including name and appropriate signatures.

Please see the attached Kilah Davenport Child Protection Act Support Letter for more information on the legislation and mailing information.

In other news, Kilah started her new round of rehab yesterday and is standing in a frame (that is the picture above).

    Hello,
Congratulations on this milestone! My name is Jonna Bishop Bingham and I write for a website called Crime in Charlotte and I was wondering if I may ask you a few questions for a story? If that would be ok, comment back here or email me directly at bingham.jonna@gmail.com I can call you or we can email or google chat. (if you have that…). Thank you. What a beautiful face little Kilah is to a horrible tragedy! Sincerely, Jonna
